Our Government Cyber Resilience Pledge
Illuminate Technology is committed to strengthening cyber resilience across our business, our leadership team and our supply chain. As part of the UK Government’s Cyber Resilience Pledge, we have committed to implementing a series of practical actions designed to improve governance, reduce cyber risk and encourage stronger security standards throughout our organisation.
Making cyber a board responsibility
Our Board is committed to embedding cyber security into the way we govern our business.
We will:
- Implement the Cyber Governance Code of Practice
- Ensure every Board member completes NCSC Cyber Governance Training within three months
- Refresh this training annually
Registering for Early Warning
We will register for the National Cyber Security Centre's Early Warning service within one month of signing the pledge.
This service helps organisations identify potential cyber threats earlier, allowing faster action before incidents escalate.
Raising standards across our supply chain
Cyber security extends beyond our own organisation.
We will:
- Register for the Cyber Essentials Supplier Check Tool
- Review Cyber Essentials coverage across our suppliers
- Apply a risk-based approach when assessing supplier security
- Report our findings to the Board
Going beyond the pledge
Our commitment doesn’t stop with the government’s minimum requirements.
We will also:
- Encourage stronger cyber security throughout our supply chain
- Publish our signed pledge on our website
- Provide annual public updates on our progress
- Review our commitments regularly as cyber threats evolve
- Register for the Cyber Essentials Supplier Check Tool
- Publish our signed pledge online

- Review progress
- Refresh Board training
- Publish public progress updates
